Over the past ten years, the Highlands Performing Arts Center has transformed itself from a renovated former church into a 520-seat state of the arts performing arts venue to support ALL the performing arts groups in the area.   Community built for everyone!

The future will see bigger and better growth with a mission to focus on sustainable artistic excellence and community engagement. The PAC is committed to providing high-quality performances, supporting local artists, and enriching the cultural landscape through diverse and engaging artistic experiences.  And, as before, we cannot get there without your support.

This year, we are proud to announce the first annual Highlands - Cashiers Film Festival.  This festival will have a juried competition of over 500 submissions from around the world along with the viewing of six feature films.  This three-day festival will also host lectures and workshops by directors and actors.  It is our hope that this festival will grow each year to become a signature Highlands event.

Join us in this new venture for Highlands.  As a sponsor you will receive the same benefits a PAC membership provides, with the added bonus of attending all the films and two social events: A Walk in the Garden Soiree and Bogart’s Hollywood Cocktail Party.  Each event will be packed with the stars and directors of the featured movies.  The soiree garden is the actual location of one of the feature films!  Sponsorship levels are below.

Want to do even more to help get the PAC to the next level of excellence?  Major donor opportunities still exist for the expansion of film and sound capabilities in the new theater and development of our adjoining property. Each expansion will thoughtfully include funding to sustain what has been built.

Proceeds from the Highlands Cashiers Film Festival will support the PAC Educational Theatre whose mission is to provide students of all ages with exceptional experiences in the theatre arts and outreach efforts within the community including the Literacy & Learning Center and Boys and Girls Club of the Plateau.
